  • Both film the match with a camera at the side of the pitch. Trace sells highlights to each family, built around one player's jersey number; Veo sells a camera and subscription to the team. 1st Touch films nothing: it works from the broadcast, and an analyst tags every action you make, live.

  • Trace prices per player. Its US price page lists PlayerFocus Basic at $180 a year and Pro at $300 a year, with a free camera lease on yearly plans and one camera per team; monthly plans cost more and add a $99 lease fee. 1st Touch prices per player and shows its prices: match packs from 70 € a match, or a membership for the whole season.

  • You give Trace the kit colours of both teams and your player's jersey number, and its AI uses those to follow them, so the number has to be set before the game. 1st Touch doesn't need either: an analyst watching the match knows who you are.
