- xG and OBV models
- API and analysis platform
- For clubs
Choose StatsBomb if you recruit, scout or analyse opponents for a club and need the same data across leagues.
//First look
What you see when you land.

//What decides it
Four things that matter to a player.
Live analysis
- 1st Touch
- An analyst tags your match while it is played. Your stats are ready as the match ends, and on live plans the full analysis is with you within the hour.
- StatsBomb
- Event data arrives after the match. Real-time feeds are a separate Hudl product, Hudl Live Data.
Accurate data
- 1st Touch
- Every pass, duel and touch is tagged by a person who watched it happen, then checked by a second person before it reaches you.
- StatsBomb
- Collected by computer vision and corrected by expert collectors, to one standard for every player in a competition.
Player first, not club
- 1st Touch
- Bought by you and built around you. Your record stays yours when you change club, and nobody sees it unless you share it.
- StatsBomb
- Built for clubs and organisations to recruit and analyse. You are one of more than 200,000 players in the data.
Vertical AI
- 1st Touch
- Built for one sport and one player. Automation finds the broadcast and cuts every action into its own clip; a trained analyst makes every call about what you did.
- StatsBomb
- Data science models such as xG and On-Ball Value, built to compare players across leagues, not to follow one player's match.

StatsBomb IQ was StatsBomb's analysis platform. Since Hudl bought StatsBomb in 2024, it is sold as the Hudl Statsbomb platform: clubs use it to search players, compare them and analyse opponents, with Wyscout video linked when bought together.
Hudl doesn't publish StatsBomb prices; clubs and organisations get a quote from its sales team. StatsBomb also releases free open data for selected competitions, mainly for research and learning. 1st Touch prices per player and shows its prices: match packs from 70 € a match, or a membership for the whole season.
StatsBomb is sold to professional football organisations, and its API is for paying customers. It is built to compare thousands of players at once. 1st Touch is built for one: an analyst tags every action of your match live, and a second person checks it before you see it.
Request an invite. We check we can cover your league before you pay anything, and once you're in, your next match is analysed live.
